Ok, so I finally changed my webpage... partly inspired by my old home page getting listed as an "ugly funny" web page on del.icio.us and having my picture cited as an example of annoying graphics on web pages. ;] That, and it had been over 6 years... long enough? To prevent this happening again, I've now got an associated Blog that I can throw new content into more easily/quickly.

Of course, my JavaScript XBM Library has had more positive del.icio.us listings ;]. Unfortunately, IE with XP SP 2 no longer supports XBM without a registry change.
My "Replacement" Chapter 2 (for a college assignment) of the Gang-of-Four Design Patterns book "A Case Study: Designing a Discrete Event Simulation" has had some noteriety

I'm a computer programmer in Albuquerque, NM. My address is david at blackledge dot com. I taught myself Java around 1997 with the old AWT. I spent several years delving deeply in to the JavaScript language and came out with some little jewels and games, but haven't really gotten back into it since about the advent of Firefox. My current obsession is Programming for my TiVo... download my cool stuff, including great stuff if you're a programmer.
I'm also a fan of Weird Al... just for fun, I did my own presentation of the lyrics of his song "Bob."
